A beautiful evening for the second annual RePurposed Fashion Show!

As I said last night,
an intentional community takes hands to build, and I am so grateful to Maureen McGuigan and everyone at Lackawanna county, Christopher McClatchy, and the city of Scranton, Tim Holmes, and everyone at the Everhart, Chrissy Cuddey and the Electric City Bridal Company and friends, Lace by Epicurean, and Jennifer Frey Abdalla, alongside our brilliant designers, artists, models, and volunteers. Thank you for your dedication to this vision. 🫶🏼

And thank you to everyone who attended, shared, and talked about this event. It was a true celebration of the creativity of secondhand art and fashion, and a reminder of the impact we are making together.

The end-of-summer swap is here! ♻️👚👖

Join Hannah from Swap Scranton and me from 12–3 PM this Sunday, August 23 at Groove Brewing in Scranton for an afternoon of refreshing your wardrobe for the new season—without the cost or environmental impact of buying new. 🌎

Bring 10 gently used pieces of clothing or accessories and leave with 10 new-to-you additions for your wardrobe for free. I’ve already spotted lots of beautiful sweaters that were dropped off in advance, so I have a feeling there will be some great finds! 🍂

As many of you know, everything I wear from head to toe is secondhand. Reducing my environmental footprint—especially when it comes to fashion—is a deep personal mission of mine. I love proving that you can dress well, keep your wardrobe feeling fresh, and do it all without constantly buying new or contributing to the cycle of spending cash and creating trash.

Come swap, refresh, and join me in making fashion a little more circular. 💚♻️

Exciting weekend ahead! Tomorrow evening is our second annual RePurposed Fashion Show fundraiser hosted by the Lackawanna County Arts & Culture Department at the Lace Village at 1315 Meylert Avenue in Scranton.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7. Tickets are $45 with the link below until 3 PM Friday and include light fare. There will also be a cash bar. Guests are encouraged to wear their own locally-thrifted or swapped looks. Tickets will be available after the 3 PM cut off at the door for $55.
