Ever since I found out I was pregnant last fall, my business has changed. I stopped doing markets, stepped back from big plans I had for my brand, and slowed down in order to make space for a different project: having a child.

The one piece of Kind of Swell that I worked to maintain was being a vendor at my favorite little shop .

This isn’t a post to announce anything new, just a shout out about the best vintage (and delightfully curated modern) store. Currently the only place to shop my collection, and these pieces in the photos are just a little sampler of what I’ve been sourcing over the last few months.

Grateful to my friends at for the extra support while I figure out how to be a mom and run a business at the same time 💞

Thanks to all of you for sticking around during a slower season. Can’t wait to see what the future brings for Kind of Swell :)

🌼 spring is springing! 🌼
which means i am once again doing the mental gymnastics of trying to decide how i want to move forward with my business 🤸‍♀️

if you have been following for a while, you know i used to sell more vintage online, both on etsy and on this platform. as markets picked up and i started selling in physical stores, my capacity for online sales dwindled.

now i am finding that my capacity for markets is slowing down. i am definitely still participating, but just less often and being pickier about which markets i attend and invest in.

i have been considering how best to use this platform, both because it’s fun to engage with y’all, but also logically to drive some business my way. i am not planning to ramp up my online selling significantly this year, but i will probably be posting some goodies on depop as i am able.

SO! if you read all of this, here’s my question for you: what kind of content would you enjoy seeing from me?
