This October, Leolo will donate $100 from every pair of women’s Combat Boots sold to RAINN — the R**e, Abuse & In**st National Network.

RAINN is the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline, providing free, confidential, trauma-informed support to survivors 24/7. RAINN also works to prevent sexual violence through education, advocacy, and efforts to create safer communities and hold perpetrators accountable. This is about more than a pair of boots. It’s about standing together, refusing silence, and putting our money behind the women and survivors who need us.

In the age of influencers, I’m more interested in acknowledging the people who influence me, the people whose perspective I find inspiring …Meet artist, Tyree Guyton.

This one is about more than a shoe. It’s about why I do what I do.

I had a deeply meaningful conversation with Tyree Guyton about something we’re both completely obsessed with: shoes.

What struck me was the difference in how we look at them. Tyree thinks about shoes through the life that happens after they leave the designer’s hands the life lived in them and the stories and memories they collected.

I think about that life before it happens: creating shoes that represents the sensibilities, personality, and spirit of the person who will eventually live that life in them.

Tyree gave me carte blanche with the design, with one request: take risks. So I did.

Our conversation about shoes, creativity, obsession, influence, and the lives objects take on after we make them will be posted in a few days. I can’t wait to share it.

When I first opened Leolo, a contractor came in looking for a boot that could take him from the boardroom to the construction site without catching grief in either place.

That’s how the Leolo Moc Toe Work Boot was born.

A traditional work boot, refined with a more elegant toe. Built to work hard without looking like it has to.

Each pair is custom made to your bespoke fit, available in any color and any shaft type. We cut them from heavy 5–6 oz. shoulder leather, then hot-stuff the hide a process that bakes oils and waxes deep into the leather for added durability, protection, and character that only gets better with wear.

Finished on a Vibram Christy sole in either ½” or 1” thickness.

Stylish. Hard-working. Built for the boardroom, the job site, and everything in between.
