✨ Momentum Highlights ✨

to Seward Criterium WTNB race night!

Brevay took over the Seward Criterium to highlight the WTNB racers in the Seattle community. The schedule was switched up to make the WTNB race the final slot of the night. Coalition Cycling led an amazing skills clinic before the race to help more WTNB folks participate safely.

Huge shout out to Apex Racing and Breakfast Racing Team 🥞⚡️ who split the cost of covering the race entries for all riders, further reducing the barrier to entry.

Our friends Sound Break and Rapha Seattle also showed up in a big way, helping us host a Seattle Community Cycling Cookout, organize a commute crew to the race, and supply the race prizes. Powered by Rivian and Dometic we brought the vibes with DJ Swerks and supplied cold beverages from our partners at poppi and Best Day Brewing 🍏🍻

Thank you to everyone who partnered closely with us to make this race happen and to those who showed up and cheered on the racers!

P.S. Don’t miss your last chance to race Seward for 2026 TONIGHT 🚴

And If you’re interested in getting into racing, keep an eye out for the upcoming Meet the Team Rides! Hagens Berman Cycling Team ACT Coalition Cycling Breakfast Racing Team 🥞⚡️ Apex Racing

✨ Momentum Highlights ✨

We’re still riding the high from Momentum and stoked to share a few favorite moments from the week.

If you missed the Cheasty ride with Bike Works and Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance , we highly recommend taking the time to go check out the trails. We had a blast looping the trails and were blown away by the singletrack that exists right here in the city.

Thank you to Bike Works and Cascades to Sound Chapter of Evergreen MTB Alliance for leading the ride and for all the work that went into building the trails. It was a true community effort, and we recognize so many were involved including the Friends of Cheasty Greenspace and all the volunteers who advocated for it and worked tirelessly to make it happen.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We loved meeting so many new faces and celebrating the world class trails in our own backyard!

Thank you to Truong Nguyen ❤️🍎 for capturing the joy of this ride!

MOMENTUM Film Night is TONIGHT August 7th 🚴‍♀️🎥

MOMENTUM Film Night, a night dedicated to celebrating community and WTNB cyclists.

There will be a food truck, giveaways, and activities for the entire family!

For those looking to further support local nonprofits (and have a shot at winning some sweet gear), we’ll also have a raffle with all proceeds going to local 501(c)(3) non-profits - Bike Works and Cascades to Sound Chapter of Evergreen MTB Alliance 🚵‍♂️ You won’t want to miss this raffle🔥👀.

The films of MOMENTUM 🚴🏾‍♀️🎥 Her Khaltsha

Her Khaltsha is an inspiring short documentary that captures the spirit and determination of Khaltsha Cycling Academy, the first all-girls cycling group in Khayelitsha. Through their cycling journeys, the girls not only challenge societal norms, but find freedom, express their emotions, and dream beyond their neighbourhood.

Director Robyn Phillips, from her own deeply personal experience, knows what it’s like to navigate the city on two wheels. With the talented cinematography (and rider) Jason Prins, they capture the unique experience every woman faces while cycling. For many femme bodies, the love of riding outweighs the struggles. But let’s be real: being a girl on a bike comes with its own
set of challenges. It’s tougher, more dangerous, and often met with skepticism. Yet, the thrill of
cycling brings a sense of freedom that’s hard to beat.

Join us on August 7th at Old Stove Ship Canal to watch the team of Khaltsha Cycling Academy as they embark on tough training sessions, capturing the spirit as they ride together, dance together and care together. We’ll kick off the films at 6:30PM, with a block party beforehand and a raffle in between films. All raffle proceeds go to our amazing local nonprofits Bike Works and Cascades to Sound Chapter of Evergreen MTB Alliance 🤘

Come watch the femmes with us at our Pacha viewing party ✨🎥

We’re kicking off the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift viewing party at Pacha everyday at 7AM! We started today with a solid group of 20 people to cheer on stage 3 of the tour 🚴

We’ll have Zwift Watch the Femmes caps and goodies for everyone (until they run out) and themed food and drinks from Pacha ☕️🌯

frog.seattle / brevay rider Alyssa Carr will also be selling frame bar bags made here in Seattle exclusively at Pacha during momentum week. Don’t miss out on snagging these one of a kind water resistant bags!

Come watch women’s racing and hang with friends! 🤘

On Tuesday, August 4th we’re heading south to check out the Cheasty Mountain Bike Trails alongside the Momentum nonprofit partners, Bike Works and Evergreen Crank Sisters 🤘

Bring your gravel bike or your mountain bike to explore the single track trails. We will meet at Bike Works at 6PM to check out their shop and learn more about Bike Works and Crank Sisters before rolling out for the ride. After we do a few loops around Cheasty, we’ll head to Aslan Seattle (in Seward) for food and drinks!

The Cheasty Mountain Bike Trails are some of the longest urban mountain bike trails in a major US city and were made possible by the incredible work of Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance and the local community that advocated for it. This ride is geared at exploring the trails and
celebrating the incredible access we have to world class trails right here in the city. We’ll do a few, self paced loops of Cheasty, but for those looking to get in a longer ride, we recommend commuting down!

This is one of the rides in our Momentum punch card series. Every Momentum event you attend earns one entry to win a Zwift Bike with a Kickr Core ($1300+ value), and whoever attends the most rides gets 5 bonus entries. The Zwift raffle will be held at the Momentum Film Night on Friday, August 7th (note: you must be present to win).

Can’t wait to see you all there! 🚵
