Coming back from a long hiatus away from the shop and social media. It’s been nice, but I’ve also missed sewing and seeing my business grow. In the last few weeks I made these ‘BE KIND’ sweatshirts for my family. I felt I needed the reminder and maybe (not so sneakily) wanted others to see that reminder too. It’s a phrase I want my son to call on as he learns to treat others and something he sees his parents model daily. Another reminder of how I need to treat myself as well. I too often put unrealistic expectations on myself— especially for how I want this business to succeed. I hope we can all give ourselves some grace this week and remember to be kind most of all
