It’s a blessing to serve he youth of today as they transition into adulthood. It makes me accountable because they’re watching, hearing, and mimicking. The do as I say and not as I do method won’t work for this generation. They’re too easily persuaded and they’re impressionable. I fight everyday to walk as a child of God in order to show them it’s ok to do the right thing and make the right decisions according to God.

I didn’t display my best self when I felt that the love I gave wasn’t appreciated, valued, or returned. I think a lot of us reach that point in relationships where this version of us that we hate is on display because we’re trying hard but feeling the results aren’t what we want them to be. I say stop with the expectations. Don’t enter relationship with this fragmented picture of what reciprocation looks like. Give naturally and if you feel your love is being undervalued by the actions of the other party then make that change. ✨
