it only took 10 years to complete this job. found 10 blocks in a salvage yard that were all the same h & d. made one each yearly after MAHLUM architects won awards for their work. each year we milled, etched & nickel plated the parts all set within a nickel plated base. photos by mark woods

companyK design - custom cast white bronze (bronwhite) log w/ stainless steel “grate” for a private residence/ aspen. integrated fire starter. the process took almost 4 years from start to finish after many options were explored. great help from form 3D foundry in portland .xyz (photos by mark woods) grate is 25” deep x 52” wide
