A couple of months ago, I purchased the Troubadour Laptop Work Tote in Ale Brown. The bag is a gorgeous shade of deep brown and looks like leather. The interior is a tan vegan suede. The bag comes with a long matching strap that can be used as a crossbody, or it can be carried as a shoulder bag using the handle straps. I purchased that bag because I everyday carry load increased and my Small Troubadour Tote in gray was just a tiny bit too small. This bag is a bigger version of that bag. I see that it is listed as a laptop work tote, but I purchased with the intention of using it as a large roomy purse. The Troubadour Laptop Work Tote bag is spacious and I have lots of extra space. I find that I do not always need that much space, so I carry it on days with I am bringing extra items with me such as a water bottle, sweater, book, etc. I highly recommend this bag (or any of the Crystalyn Kae) washable coated canvas bags.

I purchased the Small Troubadour Tote in Gray last year. This was the first Crystalyn Kae bag that I purchased. The only reason I purchased the gray color was because that color was on sale, and I am so glad it did. My bag has a beautiful royal blue vegan suede interior. I was a bit unsure if the gray because there are so many different shades of gray, but it was perfect. I used it for seven or eight months daily until my everyday carry load increased and I needed something a bit more spacious. Even with all of the use, it still looks brand new. I carry the bag as a satchel with the short handles, but it does come with a matching crossbody strap as well. I plan to use it going forward on days with I need less with me. I highly recommend Small Troubadour Tote.

I am enjoying the Foxtrot Medium Hobo Bag in the butterscotch color. This is my third Crystalyn Kae bag, but the first hobo style. The color butterscotch is a true representation of the namesake candies. The interior is a gray vegan suede. After using it for a week now, I find that I need a bit more space to accommodate my everyday carry load, but if I remove a couple of items, it is perfect. I plan to use this bag on days when I carry less with me. This Foxtrot Medium Hobo Bag would make a great crossbody and the included strap is long enough for that purpose; but for me, I prefer to carry it as a shoulder bag. I highly recommend it.

I bought my Hobo bag 10 YEARS ago at MooShoes NYC and it immediately became my favorite bag. It’s very well made, which is why it lasted this long. Last year the zipper gave out and I still kept it, hoping I would be able to get it fixed at some point. Eventually, I went back to MooShoes thinking I’d just buy a new one, but they didn’t have it. I finally looked up the brand and was so thrilled — they still sell it! I was even more excited to find out that they could repair the zipper on my original bag! So now I get to keep enjoying my favorite bag AND I bought a new one in a different color.

TLDR This is the most stylish and versatile bag I’ve ever owned.

I bought the black medium Hobo bag 10 YEARS ago at MooShoes NYC and it immediately became my go-to bag. It goes with pretty much any outfit, from fancy to athleisure. It travelled around the world with me through countless airports, on boats, trains, and it still looks great. It’s easy to clean (I usually just wipe it with a wet wipe) AND I recently found out it’s machine washable!!! After adjusting the strap, it’s also good for biking. I like that the strap is wider, so my shoulder doesn’t hurt when I carry it for an extended period of time. It doesn’t look very big, but I can even fit a light sweater or my foldable Patagonia windbreaker. It’s very well made, which is why it lasted this long. Last year the zipper finally gave out (probably because I kept stuffing my sweaters in it lol) and I still kept it, hoping I would be able to get it fixed at some point. Eventually, I went back to MooShoes thinking I’d just buy a new one, but they didn’t have it. I finally looked up the brand and was so thrilled — they still sell it! I was even more excited to find out that they could repair the zipper on my original bag! So now I get to keep enjoying my favorite bag AND I bought a new one in a different color. It wasn’t clear from their website whether they could fix the style I have, so I messaged them and they got back to me almost immediately, confirming they can fix my bag and offered to include the shipping label with the order I had made separately.
Crystalyn Kae not only makes beautiful bags, they run a truly eco-conscious business and provide excellent customer service. You can tell they really care, about the quality of their product, their customers, and the environment.

I now own 4 of these bags. I love them because they are beautiful, lightweight, they hold all the basics and a water bottle. They last forever even with daily use. After more than 5 years my bags look basically new , and I don't baby them at all. They eventually do get a little crack in the canvas down near the folds at the base but it's barely noticable.
