We would like to be the brand that says yes. A 9EE, a 14 Wide, a foot that has never once fit a standard last โ none of these is an exception here, and none is a favor grudgingly done. They are simply measurements, and we build to measurements rather than to a number stamped inside a box by someone who never met your foot.
The reason so few shoes fit a broad foot is worth understanding, because it explains a lifetime of quiet discomfort. Most shoes are built in a single width and offered in a range of lengths, so the only remedy on offer for a wide foot is to size up โ to buy a longer shoe in the hope of a little more room across the ball. It never quite works. The heel slips, the toe still presses, and the shoe is always subtly, stubbornly wrong. Length and width are two different measurements, and a shoe worth owning has to respect both.
We set the width from the last, rather than borrowing it from length. A standard fit, a wider one, or a shoe built entirely to your own two feet โ which, it is worth saying, are almost never quite the same size as each other. It is not complicated. It is simply the difference between building a shoe for an average and building one for a person.
So if you have spent years wedging in, going without the styles you actually wanted, or settling quietly for โclose enough,โ understand that none of it was ever your feet's fault. It was the shoe's.
Tell us your size. The answer, far more often than you have been led to expect, is yes.
