📍 Santa Rosa, CA: 43 square miles of oak-covered ridges, really good local beer, and that unmistakable down-to-earth NorCal feel.

Here is how we enjoy the best of it:
• Biking Trione Annadel State Park: Or as the locals call it, just "Annadel." It’s miles of rocky singletrack cutting through oak trees and past lakes right on the edge of town.
• Hiking Taylor Mountain: The quickest way to get above the city. It’s a steep hike up the ridge that pays off with huge views across the valley.
• The Beer Scene: You can't talk about Santa Rosa without iconic spots like , but the town is full of local favorites like Moonlight Brewing Company and Cooperage Brewing's downtown taproom.

Bummer-free is the way to be at FISHETARIAN FISH MARKET.

Built on a strict bummer-free philosophy, Shane and Dana have spent over a decade perfecting that exact mission. When you’re here, you’ll discover it’s impossible to have a bad time when you're sitting on the coast with a plate of fresh seafood and an ice-cold beer or local wine.

While the fish tacos and clam chowder are legendary, their Grab ’N’ Go case is not to be missed. Stock up on Charlie’s Ceviche, smoked salmon spread, and local treats from the market fridge on your way out.

A must-stop on any Bodega Bay itinerary.

As you enjoy this celebratory weekend, we encourage you to support a local business, get outside, and, as always, leave every place better than you found it.

The small town combines country hospitality with culinary and artistic sophistication. The historic Valley Ford Hotel, built in 1864, features seven charming guest rooms and the popular Rocker Oysterfeller’s restaurant.

Across the street, Valley Ford Cheese & Creamery offers bites from a skilled chef, pastries from an in-house baker, picnic foods, and wine and beer served at a small bar, all overlooking cheese aging rooms.
