What happened to if you don’t have anything nice to say?

But in reality, let me let you in on a couple secrets. 1) We are a small boutique. I make these videos in my free time. I can’t always bring in different models who fit the dress differently. 2) I’m not shopping for my actual dress. I’m showing off dresses in our inventory. This dress specifically is actually a very popular one for its unique color, beautiful lace, and yes, plunging neckline. 3) These comments don’t hurt. Sure, it took some time to get thick skin. I strongly believe that there’s a difference in commenting on a dress and commenting on a model in the dress. I am absolutely against body shamming, and remind you that I am still human. But at the end of the day, these comments drive engagement and push the video out, so hopefully, the brides who do love this dress get a chance to see it.
