Hi guys!

I am so sorry for the inconvenience, but Renew Boutique will be closing at 5:00 PM tonight.

Unfortunately, I’m still having issues keeping the building cool. It’s something that is actively being looked into and worked on, but with such a small space and a large front window, the boutique tends to get very warm toward the end of the day.

I absolutely hate having to close early because I know it can be inconvenient, and for that, I truly apologize. Right now, it’s about 85 degrees inside the shop, and it’s becoming pretty toasty—not only for me, but for all of my wonderful shoppers as well.

I hope you can understand while I work through this and get everything figured out. Your patience and support mean so much to me.

If you happen to make your way to the boutique and don’t see this post in time, please don’t hesitate to message me! I live right here in town and would be more than happy to come open the shop for you. The last thing I want is to disappoint anyone.

Hey guys! 💕

As a small business owner who’s still fairly new in town, I’m trying to figure out the best store hours for everyone. I don’t want to constantly change things and confuse people, but I’d love some honest feedback from my customers and supporters.

Right now, Renew Boutique is open:

✨ Wednesday–Friday: 11 AM–6 PM
✨ Saturday: 10 AM–4 PM

Are there certain days you’d like to see me open? Different hours that would work better for you?

One thing to keep in mind is that Seneca is very different from Ottawa or Morris when it comes to foot traffic. At this point, I’m running the boutique completely on my own, so the schedule has to make sense for both the business and my family. While you may only see the storefront hours, there are many hours spent behind the scenes ordering inventory, processing online orders, marketing, bookkeeping, and everything else that comes with owning a small business.

A big reason I chose Seneca was because it allows me to build a business while still having a healthy balance with my family, and that balance is important to me. ❤️

I also keep going back and forth on Sundays. I’ve considered being open from 10 AM–2 PM as a convenience for those who have Sundays off, need a last-minute swimsuit cover-up, sunglasses, outfit for the week, or simply enjoy a relaxing shopping trip.

But I honestly don’t know what the demand is. Are Sundays a day you like to shop? Or are most people spending time with family, boating, traveling, at sporting events, or just enjoying a day to relax?

I’m really looking for honest feedback here. If you could create the perfect boutique schedule, what would it look like? Would you shop on Sundays? Would Monday or Tuesday hours be more beneficial?
