Crocheted With Love, By Trish This is a place to share my talents and take orders for any crocheted items you might like! I could not be more grateful for the gift she gave me.

My love and passion for crochet began as a small child when my grandmother taught me how to hold the yarn and needle as I sat on her lap. My first projects were countless chains to be used as hair ties and “jump ropes”. This progressed into making afghans, the first of which I took to college with me. Over the years I have perfected my craft and taught myself how to read a pattern so I can create

many beautiful things. I began making baby blankets for all my friends and family as their babies were born. Whether it is your first or your 5th child, I believe EVERY child deserves his or her OWN blankie. I then expanded and tried to challenge myself by making various other items as gifts, such as sweaters, hats and scarves. Things just exploded from there. When my son was born, I even began making hats and clothing for his stuffed animals and dolls. Last year I began crocheting a variety of animal hats, as well as hats with flowers and other embellishments. As I started showing them to friends and posting pictures online, I got some great feedback, things took off and the orders started flowing in!

I’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the customers who stoped by my table today and made the event a HUGE success! I think I set a personal best for sales. The foot traffic was fantastic today. Bonus, it was so nice to see family we haven’t seen in a long time.
