Today we celebrate the birth of the greatest fighting force the world has ever known. Since June 14, 1775, generations of Soldiers have answered the call to serve, defend freedom, and protect our nation with honor, courage, and sacrifice.
As an Army Veteran, I am proud to have worn the uniform and stood alongside men and women who embody selfless service and unwavering commitment. Today, we honor those who served before us, those who continue to serve today, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
The Army is more than a branch of service—it’s a brotherhood and sisterhood built on duty, loyalty, and love of country.
