“You had TEN girls in your wedding party?!”
Yes, and I’M SO GLAD I DID! I almost let the numbers get to me, I could already hear the comments in my head…
“Wow! I don’t even have that many friends!”
“That’s a LOT of bridesmaids to line up for photos! Are you sure?”
“What if you don’t talk to all of them in 10 years and they’re in all your photos?”
I almost fell victim to the “what would people think” or trap of having your bridal party feel “balanced” (whatever the hell that means!)
Take it from someone who almost let the comments dictate my day.
If you want 10 bridesmaids or 2 bridesmaids or you don’t want to have a wedding party at all, listen to your gut. Please don’t let the fear of perception or logistics or what people think stop you from what will make your day feel more like you.
I needed all 10 of these girls by my side, and it wouldn’t have been our special day without them 💕
