Apparel Production Intern

About the Opportunity
Are you creative, hands-on, and interested in seeing how apparel goes from an idea to a finished product?
Engaged Apparel is looking for an enthusiastic Apparel Production Intern to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with apparel, printing, design, and the behind-the-scenes process that brings branded products to life.
The ideal candidate will have some familiarity with DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers, heat pressing, apparel production, and fulfillment and is excited to build real-world experience in a growing apparel and marketing environment.
What You'll Do
As an Apparel Production Intern, you’ll help bring customer orders from production to completion. Responsibilities may include:
Preparing and applying DTF transfers to apparel and other products
Operating heat press equipment safely and efficiently
Preparing garments and products for production
Folding, packaging, labeling, and fulfilling customer orders
Quality-checking finished apparel for accuracy and presentation
Organizing inventory, apparel, transfers, and production supplies
Helping maintain an organized and efficient production workspace
Assisting with order preparation and fulfillment
Supporting the team with special projects and new product ideas
Learning the full process of taking a branded apparel order from production through delivery
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
Familiar with DTF transfers and heat pressing
Comfortable working with apparel and hands-on production
Detail-oriented and takes pride in producing quality work
Organized and able to keep track of multiple orders
Dependable, punctual, and willing to jump in where needed
Comfortable working independently while also being part of a team
Eager to learn and gain real-world experience
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Interested in apparel, branding, design, marketing, or entrepreneurship
Previous experience with DTF printing, heat pressing, apparel decoration, or fulfillment is a plus. We’re also happy to help the right person continue developing their skills.
