We were delighted to spend Sunday afternoon with NC State Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Cleveland County to present $1,000 toward the development of the Dotty Leatherwood Botanical Gardens in Shelby.

This summer Belvedere celebrated our two year anniversary. Our friends donated food, music, and more to mark the date. We decided to use the proceeds to contribute to the new Leatherwood garden.

Belvedere Station has grown because of community support and we wanted to pay it forward to ensure the continued growth and beauty of our lovely town.

Shelby is an amazing community and we hope other businesses will join us in the growth of our very own botanical garden. 🪏 🌱

We are grateful for the Friends of Belvedere donors (and everyone that bought a hamburger and hotdog) who made this effort a success.

🌱 Join us for our Fall and Winter Vegetable Gardenining Masterclass on Sept 22, 6:00p - 7:30p.

Michelle Roberts of Growing the Good Life Farmstand and Shonna Snyder of Green Thumb Farm NC will be joined by Liz Flowers with everything you need to know about starting your cool weather garden.

There are plenty of reasons to grow your own food. The flavor is better. Varieties are better. The satification is greater. And knowing where your food comes from is fantastic.

As summer winds down (or whether you have a large garden or deck), NOW is the time to begin planning and planting for satisfying winter veg. This class is for beginner or seasoned gardeners and you will leave with your first seed started tray.

Mr Belvedere made an escape from the shop into our garden - because who wouldn’t?

We’ve all been cooped up for too long.

It took some coaxing to get him back inside and away from Marion St.

In his best interest, I decided to take him to my home to join three other kitties.

Mr B has been excited to curl up in bed and meet other kitties. Still, he misses the spotlight at Belvedere. 💫

We are rolling into the fall season when our doors are open often. It’s in Mr B’s interest to be safe and protected from street traffic.

He’ll be making some appearances, but for now Mr Belvedere is living on Belvedere.

He sends his best wishes.
