Stitch, Pray, & Crochet by Lorrine Created May 19th, 2019 as a way to give back. Everything is hand crocheted by me, for the surrounding community.

The needs at Hospitals are great, but so is the needs of our communities. Bless everyone you can, & your blessings will be returned.

Every so often, I take commissions, with the idea that I can sell a few pieces and put the monies back into my charity....

Every so often, I take commissions, with the idea that I can sell a few pieces and put the monies back into my charity.
I took a few this season, and a few back in September. None of them sold.
I understand that money is tight, that things are expensive,.
As I look forward to 2026, I do not see Stitch Pray and Crochet continuing without help.
I will do what I can next year, but it will probably never be 708 hats, like this year.
Perhaps, it will be getting close to time to say goodbye.
Everything right now is uncertain.

I have been trying to teach my child important things over the years.
One, is that it is not as important to dress up to go to a party or specific event.
It is showing up, that matters.
The time taken to dress up, or " doll up," is better spent sitting and talking with friends, colleagues or family.
The idea of dressing up should be ideal, however, when it can take away from precious moments...
Then consider me being there in my t-shirt and ragged clothes, because every minute, every second..
I don't want to waste.

If only, I had had a few more precious moments with my parents...
