It was impossible to get all my kids, nieces, and nephews to look at the camera at the same time… and somehow, we still managed to capture my favorite photos.

Every one of my BubbleRae babies together, sitting on a bench that means more than words could ever explain.

My sister and her husband had this bench made in memory of my dad and sweet baby Cameron, and now it sits at Caroline Church. Seeing all of these little loves of mine gathered here is so special to me. It’s a reminder that even after unimaginable loss, love continues to grow. 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

They may not all be looking at the camera, but one day they’ll look back at these photos and see something so much bigger than a perfect picture. They’ll see family and they’ll see love.

One day, they will understand why this bench exists and who it’s for. I hope they always find the time to stop here, sit together, tell stories, laugh, and remember the two beautiful souls who brought us all a little closer.

My heart has never felt so full. I love every single one of my BubbleRae babies more than they’ll ever know. 🤍

Not Just a Bar of Soap® … now for the horses too! 🐴🤎

Meet my new FurBaby, Gunner!

One of my favorite things about BubbleRae® FurBaby Bar is how SIMPLE and gentle the ingredients are.

Made with fresh goat milk, olive oil, coconut oil, lard, and raw honey, then very gently infused with organic peppermint oil while still keeping it skin-first for your FurBaby. 🤍

Many horse owners also appreciate peppermint during the warmer months because flies and bugs tend to dislike its fresh minty scent.

Sometimes the allergy shows up after the negative test, and this is SO important to know!!!

Also, Rae’s allergy reactions have changed as she’s gotten older. What once started as eczema has now turned into full reactions from dogs… swollen eyes, raised hives, itching, and flare-ups that can look different depending on the dog.

That’s why I always tell parents:
Trust the patterns.
Trust the reactions.
Trust your gut and ALWAYS document!

Especially under age 2, allergy testing can change as little immune systems develop. A “negative” today doesn’t always mean forever.

If your little one has a known pet allergy and you plan a vacation… please take the extra steps 🤍

When you travel, make sure you’re staying somewhere pet-free and ask questions. Even places that “don’t allow dogs” still allow service dogs!!!!

Always ask if service dogs have stayed there, and request a room that’s been thoroughly cleaned. They will clean extra for you!

From my experience, first-floor rooms are more likely so they have easy access to go outside to the bathroom.. so I always try to avoid them when possible. Also ask if they have a room with no carpet.

It may seem like a lot… but when it comes to their skin, breathing, and comfort.. it’s worth it every time.

Pictured here is Rae’s skin from 2 years ago when we went away to Myrtle Beach. We stayed in a condo that allowed dogs… and we had no idea.

She started with perfectly clear skin.
By day 3, everything changed. Between her eczema flaring, constant itching, the pool, and an environment that had pet dander, fabric furniture, and wasn’t kept the way I keep our home… she developed impetigo.

Impetigo is a common bacterial skin infection that can happen when bacteria enters through broken or irritated skin… like eczema or scratching. It spreads quickly and can get bad fast.

Luckily, this happened on our road trip home. She immediately soaked in her RaeBae Sweet Like Honey bath for 20 minutes and we applied Mupirocin prescribed by her dermatologist mixed with my Grape Mango Tallow.

Within 3 days she was almost clear but I had to keep soaking her 3x a day. Changing your environment changes everything. Where you stay matters more than you think! Pet dander is really hard to stay away from.

Service dogs are everywhere and just because a staff member tells you they don’t allow pets.. ask about service dogs !!!!

Don’t just think about the room you’re staying in.. be mindful the entire stay. Whenever there is carpet, don’t let your little one roll around or sit on it. This happened to Rae at Great Wolf Lodge. She would break out sitting on the carpet at story time in the lobby. I make sure she’s out of her bathing suit and her skin is fully covered.

One thing I’m super picky about as a mom… car seats!! I would choose Chicco car seats over and over again!!

I loved Kai and Rae’s car seats so much that I held off on transitioning them to booster seats for as long as I could. They were so comfortable, breathable, and they reclined, so they slept so well in them.

I purchased a couple of other ones, like the UPPAbaby, and didn’t like it… my husband ended up using it in his car. LOVE the UPPAbaby infant seat though!

Now that they’re 4 and 5 and both tall, I knew it was finally time. So I replaced them with the Chicco MyFit ClearTex Harness & Booster Car Seat, and Caleb will be taking over Kai’s old Chicco car seat because I love it so much.

I know Kai and Rae are probably ready for the regular seat belt booster stage, but I LOVE the extra security of the 5-point harness… especially because my kids fall asleep in the car all the time and we go on a lot of road trips. That’s exactly why I’m not ready for just the regular seat belt yet.

I also love that it has a steel-reinforced frame, which makes it feel so much sturdier and safer. That extra peace of mind matters so much to me.

Another huge plus for me is the ClearTex fabric… no added chemical flame retardants… which was really important to me with Raelyn’s super sensitive skin.

Easy cleanup matters. A LOT. Both the old car seat on the left and the new booster unzip. It’s so easy to throw in the washing machine and even easier to zip back on.

I LOVE that this booster transitions from the high back to just the bottom seat, which is great for the long run. It also reclines! This is important for my kids who only shut down in the car! It’s so thin and you can fit 3 of these seats in a backseat.

It’s one of those purchases I genuinely feel so good about… and something I’d buy again and again… so I was happy to share with you!

It’s confirmed… a new severe allergy for Rae that causes bad eczema!!!

Dandelions are in the same family as ragweed, so if you have a child with a ragweed allergy… take this into consideration. I’m sure most people know this, but I had no idea 🙃

Rae, who has a ragweed allergy, is 100% highly allergic to dandelions, where she breaks out in severe eczema. Thankfully, no coughing, wheezing, or typical allergy symptoms on top of it… just eczema, but REALLY bad.

Yesterday she played “Lion King” all day out in my yard… crawling around, hunting butterflies. It’s the cutest thing to watch, and I remember thinking to myself, we’ll find out soon enough since the dandelions have bloomed all over my yard.

Well… when she came in for a bath, her entire legs were covered in dark red welts. I didn’t notice because she had pants on and a sweatshirt. Some were big, round, quarter-sized circles, and the backs of her legs where she usually breaks out were completely inflamed.

It looks like she’s had this allergy all along to dandelions as well… and it’s only gotten worse. 🥺

Dandelions go through two stages which is also new news to me 🙃 The bright yellow flower you see first is the same plant as the white “puff” ball.

Once the yellow flower matures, it dries out and turns into that fluffy white seed head.. the one you blow to make wishes. Each little fluff carries a seed that can grow a new dandelion.

This little flower that every little one runs to pick may just be what’s triggering your little one if they have environmental allergies.

Trying peanut butter after having a child with nut allergies is a different kind of scary.

With Jaidyn and Kailo, I never panicked over nut allergies. I knew to introduce things slowly… but I wasn’t sitting there with medicine on hand.

Then came Rae… and her allergies to walnuts & pecans changed everything. When it came time to introduce peanut butter to Caleb, I did things differently.

My pediatrician suggested something I LOVED:
🤍Take a tiny amount of peanut butter and rub it on the lip
🤍Wait 15 minutes
🤍Watch for any reaction

Not putting it right in their mouth to swallow right away.

After 15–20 minutes, I felt safe enough to let him try it… and he passed!! Now his new favorite breakfast is yogurt and peanut butter.

After Rae, I always have Zyrtec on hand!!

Why I love it so much..
🤍Works quickly for Rae’s reactions (hives, itchy throat, swollen lips)
🤍Doesn’t knock her out like Benadryl
🤍Keeps her comfortable without making her feel off and lasts all day long.

Every child is different. Always talk to your pediatrician before introducing allergens 🤍

Sometimes we’re so deep in the chaos of motherhood… the mess, the exhaustion, the constant giving… that we don’t even realize how strong we really are. Mothers are incredible. The love we carry, the strength we show, the way we keep going even on the hardest days… it’s something so powerful.
