This was all made from leftover materials. Ellie has been in gymnastics and they have her doing routines on the bars so I thought I would add it to the backyard options!
The post is concreted in. The support 2 x 4 is butted up into the fort beam and the post, for aesthetic look, and has L brackets, holding it in place and some angled screws. I just drilled a hole into the first post and halfway drilled the hole into the next post. Capped on the end of the larger post so I could easily remove. Made it tall enough to where she has to jump off a stool to get on it, that way she can swing without fear of hitting the ground.
