Ever since I heard of the new Sense and Sensibility movie making it's way to the theaters I have been a bit giddy. So you can imagine my excitement when I discovered the game "Endearment" while seeking out unique finds for the shop!

Endearment is a strategy board game where you take on the role of one of Jane Austen's beloved heroines as you traverse Regency England, improve your traits, and engage in social rivalries in pursuit of a timeless romance.

Whether you consider yourself a Janeite, or just enjoy the occasional Victorian Era series. This is for you!

Dux Somnium Games also makes "Little Endearment" where ages 5 and up can traipse the coutry side visting scenic farms and estates gathering adorable animals.

These games are beautifully made, require less than an hour to play, make great gifts, and are sure to be a fun way to connect with friends and family.

Angel, from The Reset Home Co, went above and beyond to give the outside of the shop some much needed FALL love, and I am truly over the moon!!

I recently had the joy of putting this gift basket together for the American Legion.

🥞The Legion is hosting their annual Pancake Breakfast this Saturday (9/26) from 7am-11am. And during the breakfast you can bid on local goods like this "Fisherman" themed basket at their silent auction. Proceeds help bring support to our community, and local veterans and their families. So make plans tomorrow morning to enjoy some yummy pancakes, while making a difference!

🍁Toad & Co is back again for the man in your life! We have a new selection of mix-n-match separates in warm fall tones, from layering basics to rugged shirt jackets that will keep him comfortable and looking sharp for Lowe's runs, game days, date nights, and everything in between.

🦀We have also added Mackenzie's Fisherman products to our shelves. Mackenzie's Hand Scrub was first created as a highly effective deodorizer and cleanser for fisherman, but it has quickly been commandeered by gardners, craftsmen, and cooks for cleaning hands, cutting boards, and cast iron. I just wanted to pass along a friendly reminder that the shop is CLOSED until 9/24. I am away and truly enjoying a sweet getaway with the family this week.

Some of my highs so far...

Early paddleboard mornings and spotting sea turtles, manta rays, and dolphins with my 13 year old sidekick.

Playing the Chameleon game with the worst liars under the sun.

Our new evening ritual of watching the Britbox series, The Hardacres, (and talking ourselves into just one more episode after each twist and turn) while grazing Charcuterie boards.

And taking a break from the beach to do a little "product research" with my mom. Yesterday, it was so nice to get inspiration, discover new potential shop finds, and enjoy being tourists!
