This bolo tie necklace pairs perfectly with a sweatshirt, giving a vibrant pop of color to an average look. In South Dakota, we have to wear another layer for the majority of the year. This is a perfect way to still show off gorgeous jewelry despite wearing extra layers.

My good ol' bison greeting me everytime I enter the living room. He is such a cool addition and honestly, he is the art piece that motivated me again to continue working on art. I sketched him in pen in an effort to supply him for a charity craft sale and though he did not sell then, I decided to scan and make larger prints of the design. The piece means a lot to me, to the point that it is even featured on my business cards.

As always, he is available for purchase in 5×7, 11×14, and 24×36. Sales currently open to South Dakota.

At my last market I had only one bolo tie style necklace that had already been through several markets without being purchased. I started wondering if maybe the silhouette just wasn't what my buyers wanted. I think I just needed to find my people, because I ended up selling it and the customer was so excited and encouraged me to keep up the bolo style. I'm not gonna lie, that stuck with me. Naturally, the first necklace I created for 2026 was a bolo tie style. ❤️

Hello all!

I have not been active on my social media for a long time at this point. I am not going to lie, I have had a rough winter as I found out last year that I am pregnant and have not been able to work with my usual energy level. AW Prairie is my side gig and it has been a lot of effort even keeping up with my main job. Despite this I really would like to get back into the groove of creating and hopefully sharing those creations with others.

I can confidently tell you that I have been looking into what it will take to open my Etsy shop and hope to offer that soon. I at the very least plan to offer content regularly on my Facebook and Instagram pages.

Thank you so much if you've stuck around this long and I cannot wait to share the future of AW Prairie with you!
