I also support small brick and mortar shops, plus a few women's cooperatives, which are all doing wonderful things for the communities their based in and around. I am a small business owner and I know first hand the support that is needed to thrive!

These colorful flip-flop door mats are handcrafted in the Philippines through Ten Thousand Villages using recycled flip-flops collected from beaches and waterways. Each mat helps support artisan makers while giving discarded materials a second life.

Guatemala is bursting with vibrant culture, colorful markets, incredible craftsmanship, ancient archaeological sites, beautiful architecture, breathtaking volcanoes and lakes, world-class coffee, and some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet.

Every year, communities in Guatemala create extraordinary giant kites to honor loved ones who have passed.

The colors, artistry, and meaning behind this tradition are something you have to experience in person.

This October, our small group tour will be there for the Giant Kite Festival, artisan visits, a day volunteering alongside a local organization, and cultural experiences that go far beyond typical tourism.
