We’ve had a few of these large (32x32”) square midcentury paintings but just learned today that R. Taylor is not some prolific artist, but rather a pseudonym for one of many “factory painters” who produced these so-called sofa paintings assembly line-style in decades past to create real but affordable art for the masses. Aint she a beaut?!
