24 years. That's a lot of hair. 😂
But somewhere along the way, I realized the biggest thing this career has given me really has very little to do with hair.
Hair has always been the vehicle. People are the reason.
Some of you have been sitting in my chair for YEARS.
You've watched me grow up while I've watched you grow up. We've gotten married, had babies, changed careers, lost people we love, started over, built businesses, laughed until we cried... and sometimes just cried.
And somehow, through all those different seasons, you kept coming back.
Now this little career I started at 19 has grown into Olive & Angela—and somehow, the circle has gotten even bigger.
Maybe you sit in our chairs. Maybe you shop our shelves, come to our events, support one of the businesses inside our walls, send us your friends, share our posts, or simply root for this crazy little thing we're building on Main Street.
It ALL matters.
Because when you choose a small business, you're choosing where your hard-earned money goes. And I never want us to become so busy, so big, or so focused on what's next that we forget what a privilege that is.
Hair may have started all of this.
But people will always be the reason.
