We snapped this quick selfie, October 8th 2020, at nearly midnight, the night before we opened our shop doors. As we were leaving, we felt exhausted yet utterly starry-eyed with excitement for the journey ahead. We took a pause to digest the lyrics we had installed on the front window…

One year later, those words still resonate deeply for us even as we arrive at the decision to close our doors here. Looking back at those two romantics, we can’t help but laugh, they had no clue what the next year would have in store for them! Despite the challenges and emotional rollercoaster ride we’ve endured, this will not be our last endeavor and we believe this learning experience will only make us stronger for our next adventure. As the saying goes, when one door closes, another opens.
With an eternal depth of gratitude we would like to sincerely thank all of you who supported us and embraced us with such warmth and kindness in the last year. The friendships we’ve nurtured, the connections we’ve made and the acceptance we’ve felt within this beautiful community are all of the reasons we choose to continue to build a life here. This truly must be the place.
