I got into this business after I rented tuxedos from several tuxedo shops in Daytona and was extremely disappointed that I could not try it on before renting, the "pay through the nose" prices, and the lack of inventory, where a simple exchange or alteration could not be accomplished, which ruined my wedding photos. I said that someone should be able to do it- so here I am. Shipping tuxedos around the country to wedding parties that are not happy with their stores in their hometown. I am proud to suit professional athletes that need a tailor-fitted tuxedo. I carry slim fit and Euro ultra slim fit tuxedos too. I ship dresses around the country too. I seem to do better putting a tux together using someone's true height and weight than other stores do with a measuring tape. We offer same day service and stay very busy since our prices are $60 - $100 lower than most of our competitors. Why are we the only privately owned tuxedo shop still in Daytona? Some reasons may include:
1) We let you try on your tuxedo rental selection before renting it, instead of selecting from a picture in a catalog.
2) We rent full-back vests from sizes 6 months to size 8x. ASK what size FULL BACK vests go up to at other shops. Many shops don't specify whether the vest you get is full-back or backless and always use backless vests for larger guys and kids. They will tell the customer that vests don't come in larger sizes or that backless vests are cooler. Wearing a backless vest is not "cool" and does not look good when your coat is removed.
3) If out of town measurements are called in wrong, our huge inventory allows us to change most items on the spot; rather than having the Bride worry about over-night shipping replacements arriving on her wedding day.
4) Big Man tuxedo specialists. We have suited many football and basketball players. We carry 100's of styles of tuxedo coats up to SIZE 80, 1000's of vests up to SIZE 8x, over 30 shirt styles up to SIZE 7x, many shoe styles up to SIZE 18, and pants, up to SIZE 70 in pleated, non-pleated, thin leg, and wide leg, in wool or polyester, and suit pants with belt loops..Limited selection over size 70.
5) When you wear a suit, you always wear a belt. Why do most shops rent suit pants without belt loops? Our black suit rentals for $59, the pants have belt loops.
6) When you rent a GRAY tuxedo or suit, we offer matching gray shoes, studs, and cuff links. Our competitors offer the EXACT gray tuxedos at a much higher price, but do not offer gray shoes, studs, or cufflinks.
7) GROOM'S FREE PROGRAM: with 5 paid adult tuxedo rentals (inc. vest & shoes) through Jim's or John's in store items, you have 3 choices. The groom can opt for a free tuxedo rental, a free suit to keep, or a free wedding gown preservation. With all Grooms Free Programs, the groom's tuxedo rental is free with 5 paid adult rentals and all rentals size 12 or younger will be $50 for anything in our store.
8) We have many machines to tailor your rental for a proper look and offer athletic fits, slim fits, modern fits, skinny fit, or any other fit. Everyone who rents here has to have the same look as the photos in magazines.
9) National companies have EXCLUSIVE rights to use certain brand names, however for $60 - $110 less, you can get the same look and feel, but with a different label inside. Check out our web site.
