Aztlan Athletics was one of the first track clubs to transition from road-running to trail running in Southern California (1981). Founded in 1974 as Aztlan Track Club, we are in the business of widening the circle of support for non-profit agencies. We incorporate Green sponsors in all our runs to help spread the word about the importance of conservation and preservation.

🏟️Aztlan Summer Track Fest: an open track & field festival hosted by and benefitting CSULA! Whether you want to see how fast you can get around the track or test out your long jump skills, come down to the iconic Jesse Owens track Saturday morning and sign up!

🌭Hotdog & Lemonade 5K: Calling all dog owners and dog lovers📢 Run For Paws® is putting on another fun, dog-centered event this time hosted on the CSULA campus! Bring down your 4-legged (or 3-legged) running partner for this fun day celebrating pet wellness. Don’t have a dog? Join in on our human division! There will be plenty of good boys and girls for you to pet 🐕

🫂Foster the Future: A beautiful trail run that benefits Journey House! Their mission is to support former foster and probation youth to live fully independent, successful lives. Their goal is to create opportunities for advancement in education, economic stability, and a better quality of life for former foster youth.

Can you believe it, our ✨50th ANNUAL✨ Aztlan XC Classic is this Saturday🌵What started as a Thursday night run amongst elite athletes and high schoolers has become one of our most iconic and challenging courses. If you’re looking to hit some hills and strengthen your legs for a half or full marathon, this is the one to sign up for!

Swing by REI ahead of race day to pick up your bib, connect with fellow runners, and get race-day ready.

Join us on July 16 from 4-8pm for bib pickup, plus a vendor fair starting at 5:30pm featuring demos, gear, and community partners. We’ll also host a shakeout run along the Marina at 6:30pm to get your legs moving and your race day energy up!
