One year ago today, my divorce became official.

I remember thinking that this date would always feel heavy. That it would forever mark the end of something I deeply believed in when I said “I Do.”

But somewhere along the way, it quietly became the beginning.

This year has stretched me in ways I never imagined. It asked me to rebuild a home, rediscover who I am, parent from a place of strength, learn to trust myself again, and find joy in a life that looks nothing like the one I planned.

And somehow…I did.

Not perfectly. Not without tears. Not without moments of wondering how I would make it through.

But I did.

If you had told me a year ago that I’d laugh this much, feel this peaceful, love this deeply, build businesses I’m proud of, make memories with my girls that feel like magic, and genuinely love the life I’m living…I don’t know if I would have believed you.

Divorce wasn’t the best thing that ever happened to me.

But surviving it taught me something I will carry forever:

Sometimes the life that breaks your heart is the very thing that makes room for the life that finally feels like yours.

To anyone standing where I stood a year ago—terrified of what’s next—I hope you know this:

The ending isn’t the whole story.

Keep going.
