Umoja Umoja is a fashion label with a conscience founded by Victoria Hughes. Umoja creates fabulous collections to fashion focused people.

With the belief ‘Fashion is not and never has been about clothes, it’s about people.’(Watson.L,2004) Umoja started to take form. Mixing an everlasting love for fashion and a new found love for the breathtaking country of Tanzania, and its people. Umoja is not totally based on ethical products, and will not display a stereotypical hand crafted style. Being fair trade and helping toward breaking the cycle of poverty within disadvantaged communities in a developing country is just a bonus. High quality clothes is what will be produced, made in Africa

Starting small but aiming big is what Umoja will do, attempting to help a little in the fight to break the cycle of poverty.
