These Doors May Close, But the Story Continues.
After over 25 wonderful years serving our North Mississippi community, we want to share an important message to our friends and loyal customers.
As many of you know, The Courtyard has always been more than just a store - it’s been a place for connection, inspiration, and impeccable southern style. From the very beginning, this shop has been a labor of love for my mother and me, built alongside so many loyal customers who became friends and family.
As we look ahead, we’ve made the thoughtful decision to close our brick-and-mortar shop in Southaven. While this chapter is coming to an end, The Courtyard is NOT closing - it is simply evolving.
This transition allows us to embrace new opportunities, including expanding into the digital retail space and growing our presence in other ways. The Oxford location, inside Sugar Magnolia, will remain the same! The details are still coming together, but what we know for certain is that the heart of The Courtyard—our commitment to bringing the best in accessories and clothing, our unmatched customer service, and our love for this community—remains unchanged.
In the coming weeks, we invite you to stop by, shop, and celebrate this space with us one more time. Inventory will become more limited as items sell through, so we encourage you to shop early and often. All purchases moving forward will be final sale, and we will be accepting cash or Venmo only.
Most of all, we want to say thank you. Thank you for supporting a small, family-owned business for nearly decades. Thank you for trusting us to be part of your homes, your closets, and your lives.
This isn’t goodbye—it’s see you soon.
