Yep that’s right! This lil gig has ran its course. I started this a couple years ago with Cliff as a side hustle to support our beautifully adventurous and unconventional life together on the road. It was a blast perusing thrift stores all across the US on the hunt for those rad vintage gems. And boy did we find some stellar s**t! And the photo shoots in random locales were pretty hilarious too
After my time in Peru, I thought I’d start selling sustainable beautiful worldly goods from my travels. But I had to be honest with myself - I have no idea when I’ll even return to the states, but it definitely ain’t gonna be anytime soon and probably won’t be for a long time
And let’s be real, even when I was ‘active’ with this store, I didn’t give it enough time and energy. Partly because I never stop moving around. But also because I’m one of those “do a little too much” people
But I’ve made an active effort to do less, even while traveling - yes it’s possible! And it feels so good to slow down. I mean, I’m spending the next two months sleeping in the same bed. Read that again - 60 days in one fu***ng place🤗
So in an effort to dance into 2020 feeling lighter, I am officially letting go of Wander Wears
I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who followed along, modeled, encouraged, purchased, and shared your second hand stoke with us/me. Thank you for your support, and for taking it easy on the earth by choosing to buy second hand
I hope in some small way, I inspired at least a few of you to be more conscious consumers - because what we do to the earth, we do to ourselves. And since I have your attention - say NO to plastic and fast fashion🙅♀️
In more ways than one, this marks the closing of a truly special chapter in my life. And I’m grateFull. I love you all. I love this wild ride called life. Keep in touch with me . Keep buying second hand. Keep your heart soft and open. Keep loving yourself. Keep loving each other - especially the ones we feel separate from. We’re all doing the best we can. In the end, all that matters is Love. Be truthful. Be kind. Be LOVE💛
