Welcome to Maw Maw's Hope Hats.


This is our momma! she is 87 years old and has been making hats now for years. Literally probably thousands over the past few years . It keeps her hands and mind occupied and her heart happy. She loves making them and giving them away to family and friends. She occasionally will have a table at a garage sale with her hats. She has passed the love of making hats along to her great granddaughter Ameila...who came up with the name Maw Maw's Hope hats so that we could make this a reality.

In recent years she has been sending her hats to various places all over the USA. She has sent them to VA, WVA and other locations so they could bless people and keep their heads warm in winter months. It was then that I realized we needed to start something that could be a legacy for her. Introducing Maw Maw's Hope Hats.

I have about 100+ hats here that will be going to local charities in the Hampton Roads areas that service the homeless and needy as well as a cancer centers. If you know anyone or organization that could benefit or use hats as an outreach please reach out to me via DM.

If you would like to donate to her yarn stash and have yarn or know someone who has yarn that they would like to donate please let me know. I will be setting something up in the near future for people to join in this endeavor if they wish to help with Maw Maw's Hats.
