All I am seeing in the forecast is SNOW DAYS! ❄️ I seriously love it! While it has left my brain confused, due to feeling like Christmas should be around the corner instead of behind us, I am soaking up every moment! Great excuse to sit in front of the fire alllll day, K•N•I•T and binge F•R•I•E•N•D•S!! 🧶 What is your favorite thing to do on a snow day?? 🤔☃️ .

Last night I mentioned that I am working on the “Downtown Cardigan” from using “Color Made Easy” yarn, so I figured I should prolly snap a progress shot. 📸➿You guys,I must say, this is a FUN pattern! I have had two things on my knitting bucket list for years..
1. Knit Blanket
2. Knit cardigan/sweater
I made “The Kilim Blanket” from We Are Knitters over Christmas vacay, and now I am tackling the second on my knitting to do list.. so dang excited.. if fact, I’ll be honest, I have already bought more “Color Made Easy” yarn in the BEAUTIFUL “Millennial Pink” color to make a second one! 🧶🤗 What’s on your knitting, or crochet, or crafting bucket list? .

HI Y’ALL! 🙋🏼‍♀️ I’m Heidi, I am the maker behind Adalynne Rose! .

✖I opened my shop in 2009, back then it was named HillnTree Gallery (cause my maiden name was Trees, and my married name is Hill, so I tied the names together). I later changed it to Adalynne Rose because I felt it was more girly, AND fun fact, if I ever have a daughter, that is what I want to name her! ☺️
✖ I knit, 🧶 crochet, and sew 🧵, but I think knitting owns my heart!
✖I like long, romantic walks down every aisle of the craft store, also every aisle of the Tar-jay! 🎯
✖Favorite beverage: Coffee ☕️ with cream, hold the sugar OR White Chocolate Americano (light ice).
✖Favorite hobby: KNITTING 🧶 Huge shock there! 🤷🏼‍♀️ And playing with makeup and fashion! 💄💃🏼
✖Favorite show to binge: Arrested Development OR Stranger Things OR The office OR Parks & Recreation! (Ok, ok, clearly I suck at this question!)
✖Favorite candy: probably Swedish Fish .. AND everything makes! 🍫
✖Favorite food: HUGE salad with every extra item known to man on top! 🥗 ORRR PIZZZZA! 🍕Fun fact: I am a vegetarian 🌱
✖Favorite yarn: that’s like asking me which future child I love more.. I love em all! 🤦🏼‍♀️
✖Favorite book: definitely the Bible! 🙏🏻 Also, any SUPA cheesy comedy romance novel.. really, the cheesier the better! 💕
✖Favorite yoga pose: child’s pose! Just keepin’ it real guys! 🤷🏼‍♀️🧘🏼‍♀️
✖Favorite indoor plant: SUCCULENTS baby! 🌱 Really the ONLY indoor plant I can keep alive. 🤦🏼‍♀️
✖Favorite outdoor plant: anything in the hibiscus familia! 🌺 AND daisies (they feed my inner flower child!✌🏻)
✖Current WIP: soooo.. I have like 6 WIPs.. but the one I am really focusing on is the “Downtown Cardigan” from using “Color Made Easy”!
✖Fun fact: I made my scarf and hat in this pic. The hat is one of my favorite hats ever, absolute winter wardrobe staple! It is the Carrick Beanie from and I HIGHLY recommend!👌🏻 .
