Bethpage Black got wild today. The U.S. came roaring back, the crowd pushed, tempers flared — but Europe stood tall when it mattered.
• Tyrrell Hatton sealed it with a half-point vs. Morikawa, pushing Europe to 15–13. 
• Earlier, Shane Lowry drained a clutch birdie on 18 to halved his match vs. Henley and guarantee Europe would at least retain the Cup. 
• Viktor Hovland, dealing with a neck injury, had to withdraw from his singles match—his spot was declared a half-point under the “envelope rule.” European depth saved the day.
