Only a few weeks of wear on this Natural Veg Tan Heavy Duty Work Belt, and it’s already developing a beautiful patina.

This is the leather that made me fall in love with leather in the first place, and all these years later it’s still my favorite. Every scratch, crease, and shade change tells a leather nerd’s favorite story. It doesn’t come pre broken in or factory aged..

The more time you spend wearing it, the more comfortable it becomes, and the more character it develops.

I’m so happy to have these boots back. The rebuild to a wider size has been life changing. Can’t recommend it enough to people that went too narrow on the first go around.

The only downside of entering into the Stitchdown Patina Thunderdome is trying to ignore the rest of my boots for six months. Can’t wait to get these Italian Brown Cypress Falcons back in the mix!

These Nicks Palouse Western Boot prototypes are aging a lot better than I thought they would. I’m getting really excited to see what they look like at the end of this thing.

Coming up on one month of the stitchdownpatinathunderdome in my nickshandmadeboots Palouse western boots and I’m loving these things. All the fear and uncertainty of finishing the competition in these has gone away. The slip on boot problems you always hear about lasted 1-2days and then faded. I probably put 15-20 miles of walking in them while in Brooklyn for Boot Camp, and while my feet hurt a little from being on them every day for 16-18 hours, it was pretty minor. The 55 last is a total game changer for me. I cannot say enough good things about these boots. I’ll always be more of a lace up boot guy but my slip on fear is gone completely. Thanks andrew.garcia16 for grabbing these shots for me!

Before I send the trophy off to for his incredible Year 3 win, I had to pay homage to ’s Year 1 victory with my own take on his trophy photo. I’m not saying it should be a tradition, but it definitely needs to be one! 😂 There was a 9-month delay in getting the trophy to me, so huge thanks to Kevin for letting me enjoy it a little longer. This community is extremely cool.
