Hi! I’m Daria, and this is my husband, Lee. I’m the owner of Once Upon a Shoe in the Hayden Creek Plaza. My inspiration for Once Upon a Shoe comes from when I used to live in Juneau, Alaska. There was this special little shoe store, Shoe Fly, that I loved to visit-- and I highly recommend checking it out if you ever journey to Juneau! Whenever I would visit Shoe Fly, it would be the highlight of my day and it became my favorite store to visit in town.
After moving to North Idaho twelve years ago, I missed having a local shoe store full of beautiful, quality, comfortable shoes and friendly, personal staff. Thus, Once Upon a Shoe was born!
