STRUT Fashion Show

STRUT Fashion Show STRUT is an annual charity fashion show. The event will benefit Make-A-Wish AK-WA this year. It will This year will be our Second Annual STRUT Fashion Show!

It will be held at the Riverside Double Tree Hotel inside of The Grand Ballroom on May 23, 2015, in Spokane WA. Who will make up the team of individuals to put on the fashion show? We will have Inland Northwest designers, accessories creators, hair stylists, makeup artists, photographers and models. Each of these positions will be available by application only! For applications for any of the role

s you may want in the show, please visit www.strutfashionshow.com. Please complete the application and email back with all of the proper attachments. If you are selected, your team will have the opportunity to showcase your skills to our distinguished guests. Who will review the applications? The STRUT Board will review each of the applications and choose only six (6) fashion teams to showcase their work together. You will all apply individually and be placed together as a team by the board. However; you may request those that you would like to work with. Who is invited? This event is by invitation only and is meant for the fashion teams to showcase their work to businesses such as boutiques, salons, personal stylists, fashionistas or those who would like to get involved with the charity. While there are many great local fashion shows and charity events, we have noticed over the years that boutiques tend to put on the fashion shows and potential individual clients come. We've decided to switch things up a bit by giving the boutiques the chance to see all of the amazing talent they can be bringing to their stores from right here in the area. During this 5 hour event, our guests will hear from special guest speakers, mix and mingle to live music while viewing our lovely items at the silent auction table, enjoy a 3 course dinner as well as enjoy a fashion show. This year, we will also be adding vending booths and live painting. Each of the artists paintings will be raffled off at the close of the evening. After the show is over, the models and fashion teams will emerge from backstage so that guests can get ask questions about the collections and products. This is a Non-Profit event and all proceeds go to The Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.

A lot of individuals ask, "Why did you decide to produce STRUT Fashion Show, and what's the real drive behind working so hard on it? What's it really all about?"

So I decided to write a short article to share with you all about why I do it and why I'd like to see the rest of our community support this particular event. It's not about one particular cause. It's a new cause/charity or organization each year, in our area, that's making a difference. I hope you'll all take a moment to read, STRUT: from the ashes, and share it if it moves you to give back too!
