August 8th 2012. Today I have officially been at Paint In My Hair for 11 years! I remember PIMH was relocating from a tiny store front just a couple blocks down the street to our current large store. Since I was already a vendor I was one of the first ones to pick out my space. I chose the smallest space in the store out of cautiousness (what if I don’t sell much??) Lol! I moved 2 more times within the store increasing my space both times. In those 12 years I’ve seen it change ownership twice and each time saw wonderful improvements as they brought fresh life and a new perspective. I’ve met so many people and made some life long friends with vendors who have come and gone over the years. I absolutely love what I do and can’t imagine doing anything else. It’s been a huge blessing to be able to stay at home to raise my children while providing an income and a creative outlet. I’m so thankful for being able to be in an incredible store like Paint In My Hair where not only do we all care about and support each others talents we have the best customers as well! Here’s to a great future! 🎉🍾

- (2) Vintage Ethan Allen hutches that are sturdy with solid wood construction. They each have a detachable bookcase/ hutch top with 3 shelves (2 are adjustable). One has a top drawer and a cabinet below (w/ adj. shelf) and the other is a 3 dr. dresser. $295 each.

- SOLD - Gorgeous vintage possibly antique dresser. Solid wood with dovetail drawers, original brass hardware and wood casters. The top and first 2 drawer fronts were stripped, stained walnut and sealed with topcoat. The body and other drawers were painted in château grey, hand waxed and then buffed for a silky smooth sealed finish. $325
- SOLD - This solid wood, mid century secretary has fabulous details on its large dovetail drawers. It was given new life in Chateau grey and sealed for protection. $250
- Sturdy, long, vintage Dixie dresser with 7-dovetail drawers, and mirror that can attach to the back, in wonderful original condition. $425

Summer always keeps me so busy that sometimes I don’t get a chance to post as often as I should. I didn’t realize it’s been 2 weeks!! Here’s what’s new Paint In My Hair!
- Gorgeous antique, smaller tiger oak buffet with beveled mirror, curved, curved legs, claw feet and wooden casters for easy mobility. $450
- SOLD - Beautiful antique Eastlake cabinet (washstand) on casters. I stripped the top and sealed it with clear coat. I left the drawers and backboard in their original great condition and then painted the body in Pure White, distressed it then hand waxed it to seal it. $250
- SOLD - Darling antique, solid wood, 4-dr. dresser with serpentine front in a fabulous distressed blue color and modern chrome hardware. $245
- SOLD - Cute, solid wood, 3-dr. vintage dresser. I stripped and sealed the maple top and then painted the body and k***s in Aubusson and hand waxed to seal it. $145
