Redd Petunia Designs Specializing in MCM, Vintage, Boho & Camp style. Once upon a time, their were two cousins, Keri and Kimi. So... with Kimi's help Redd Petunia Designs was born!

They decided to bring their love of all things old and upcycle decorating to the masses. They found vintage, antiques and industrial, with a dash of mid-century treasures to offer to those who share a love of the same decor. Now one of those cousins (Keri) bought way to much stuff! The other cousin (Kimi) just wanted to keep all of her creations. Now to add to the story...Keri was never going to

be in a shop, never do vintage shows and certainly never own a vintage shop, she was just going to have a sale at her house. NEVER SAY NEVER!!! Well, I became a vendor before my sale was over, have done several shows and opened Rare and Retro Vintage with partners Gerard and Lyn. We sold the shop in 2018. I am currently inside the amazing Tossed and Found as a vendor in the Spokane Monroe Street District. God has greatly blessed me!

Send up super prayers please and thank you! Today will very likely be my last surgery on my eye. My eye has been through so much, that they doubt it could handle any more. Specific prayers that they get ALL the oil out, that the injections have been enough to INHIBIT the scar growth for good, and that the pressures will stabilize in the NORMAL range and that my retina stays ATTACHED. This has been quite the surgical journey and I appreciate all the prayers and positivity I have received! Itā€™s meant more to me than you could ever know! Thank you so very much! šŸ™ā¤ļøšŸ™

Sooooo interesting weekā€¦. Dec 13th I had surgery for another retinal detachment. The next day at post op, they caught that the oil in my eye was pushing on the front of my eye. That day I had laser surgery to try and make a hole to release normal fluid. My normal drain areas were being squished so they were not working. Which can lead to dangerous pressures. We discussed the symptoms so I would be aware if it started happening with eye pressure going up. Dec 19, I had pain that wasnā€™t going away. I called in after a bit and called Paul so he could take me to the Spokane eye clinic offices in the valley, where my doctor and staff were. They stayed late to see me! Normal eye pressure is 10-20. ā€¦mine was 71. With various eye drops and a medication, my Doctor also basically had to do surgery right there. The next day on the 20th I had surgery again to remove some of the oil and put another hole in for drainage. I share this because I am sooo grateful for my Doctor catching all these left curves my eye seems to throw. I am also getting injections to inhibit my scar tissue growth. It seems I have hyper active scar tissue that has caused at least 3 surgeries (I think) I am beyond blessed to have such quick responses to all my emergencies. I am so excited to be having Christmas dinner at our house again. Just to have the chatter of conversations and laughter will be wonderful. An early Merry Christmas to you all! ā¤ļøšŸŽ„ā¤ļø

I thought I would share before this time. I had a routine post op today. I have been able to drive and get out and about by myself a bit. I Even drove to my postop by myself today. My last post up my pressure was a little bit high, however, today it was really low. Unfortunately, I have very unruly scar tissue and it is pulling on my retina and detaching it. I couldā€™ve had surgery today, possibly or tomorrow however, I would prefer My surgeon who has done most of my surgeries to do this surgery. Since he knows my eye and my situations better than anyone else. So I am writing this as I lay flat on my back (or on my left side) until my surgery Wednesday. Then I presume I will be face down for a week. I would soooo appreciate prayers and positive vibes.

stick-ons I found at Big Lots! Itā€™s kinda hard to decorate such a massive wardrobe.

Whoohoo! I have driven 3 whole times after my last surgery! Not todayā€¦ cause of the snow. One of the places I went to was one of my favorite haunts Dr. Dā€™s Treasures. These are just a few of my favorite thingsā€¦. Thereā€™s so much! If you are familiar with them, they just moved to 5501 N Market, in Spokane, Wa.
Hours are Tuesday-Sunday 11am-4pm, closed Mondays! Tell them Hi for me if you can stop in. ā¤ļøšŸŽ„ā¤ļø

Nov 15th I had my 6th and hopefully last surgery. I had my cataracts removed. Yes, who knew you could have more than one? I was told it was going to be challenging surgery, so my retina doctor had to be available during the surgery. Thankfully there were no complications! The following day I could see very blurry colors and shapes. I had not had any sight in my surgical eye since May 31st. Today, depending on lighting, I can see blurry, but able to identify objectsšŸ‘ It will be a slow recovery, but YAY, recovery of my sight. I still have issues with double vision and wavy images, horizontal and vertical. I see both doctors next week, so weā€™ll see what is next, if anything. This has been quite the year. Some very rough days. Itā€™s weird, but itā€™s also creates loneliness. However, I my husband has been incredible. He, family members, neighbors, friends have taken me to soooo many doctors appointments. Even some shopping trips. The doctors and their amazing staff have also been so kind thru so many scheduled and emergency appointments. And to all of you who have sent up prayers and positive vibes for me I am overwhelmed and grateful.
Hereā€™s to 2024, may it be fresh and new!
