Only a few days into the chapter. Whatcha got to show for it?
Myself personally the last few days have been humbling in a way because I've restarted a path that had me feeling better than ever when I did it. Needless to say i decided to go full send right out of the gate and I've got the bumps to prove it.
Injuries, little tweaks, or those annoying pains kick up right when we're trying to generate momentum on things and they can be disheartening as f**k. Whether it's work, training, or just doing normal s**t, it can feel like a set back and play on your mind.
It can make you second guess what you're doing, doubt yourself, sometimes make you wanna fkn quit.
The key to getting that momentum going and stay moving is to dedicate yourself to that path you set on and find a work around no matter the circumstances. This is true in a training plan, mental development, and just life in general.
When you're the leader or a parent (or both), it's gonna be on you to be able to figure it the f**k out when something doesn't go accordingly.
Acting helpless, blaming life, or bitching will not generate a result. The only thing that will set you apart from the drifters is acknowledging the adversity and finding a way through.
The beautiful thing is, we're human. Its ingrained in our fkn DNA to be creative, evolve, and find a way.
So if you're a few days into a new chapter of life and you've already taken a hit or two, that's ok. It's part of the process and the test. You ain't the only one either, so let's find our work arounds, figure it the f**k out and get the job done!
The ones you love and lead are watching.
