Really enjoyed spending the day Uptown Blanco Textile Studio with all these amazing ladies. It’s always so fun to see there is still good in the world. People can walk into a room not know anyone or a few and leave with a new friend. It’s great when you find out someone from Merzton TX knows the family that my parents spent so much time with back in the day. It’s a small world after all!

Seems like it’s be awhile since we had a class. I have to say we have the best job helping everyone make something beautiful to hang inside or outside.
I love love the ladybugs & the 12in that one of our ladies took home to paint. More of those to come.

We are anxiously awaiting our 3rd DeStash event! This is where we accept donations of anything and everything quilt related - fabrics, rulers, quilting tools, sewing machines, and other things on this flyer. It is Sept 2, 2026 at Wimberley Presbyterian Church. Doors open at 9 am & buy your $20 bag. Look at the items. At 10 am, the bell will ring, and then you can "shop" till noon. Credit cards accepted.

The New Braunfels Area Quilt Guild held the 2026 QuiltFest at the New Braunfels Civic and Convention Center on July 24 and 25, bringing quilters from around the city and surrounding counties together to show off their projects and share in their love of the craft.
