WHAT. A. DAY.

It is well after 10pm and today came through like an F5 through a Kansas trailer park… Dorothy herself would still be looking for her other shoe👠 😂🌪️

So before this day officially clocks out — I hope all our Comal kiddos had the BEST first day back, our newly minted 13th graders had an amazing first day of college, and I’m praying over ALL our babies, educators and staff for a safe, happy and really good year 🤍

I sent my own little-not-so-little guy off to be great this morning and apparently that wasn’t enough for my emotional bandwidth because then DOLLY 💔 I’m still genuinely shocked.

Fun little Spirit Haus fact: one of the first concepts I ever started was actually this one. I hunted down the perfect Dolly photo because I wanted to turn her into the ultimate LOUD & PROUD sideline queen — pom-poms, school colors, mascots, the whole idea. Never finished it. Never did anything with it. Never forgot it either.

Add in whatever unholy moon phase we’re currently under and Texas being so hot that walking from the car into H-E-B now requires a recovery period and only dark dri-fit clothes… I’m done 😂

That’s enough August 25th for me!

Welp… Spurs season may be over & to be honest we’re fans Por Vida so it’s never really over. And by now y’all already know this Haus doesn’t sit still for long & by Haus I mean me 😂🖤
