At Chickie’s Daughter in Spring House, owners Amy Kabinoff and Stacy Trachtenberg bring a fresh perspective to a timeless legacy of women’s fashion and personalized service. Long before they became business partners, Amy and Stacy shared mutual friends—and an uncanny coincidence: both are mothers of twin boys, each with a son named Max. Beyond that, they share a love of style and a natural instinct for helping women look and feel their best. With more than six decades of combined experience, Amy and Stacy lead Chickie’s Daughter with a blend of modern flair and classic sophistication. The boutique’s story began in 1939, when Amy’s grandmother opened the original Chickie’s in Northeast Philadelphia. It evolved into Chickie’s Daughter under Amy’s mother’s leadership and eventually found its home in Spring House, where it continues to thrive today. Now entering an exciting new chapter as @1939 by Chickie’s Daughter 2, the brand honors its rich heritage while embracing the future of contemporary women’s fashion. At Chickie’s Daughter 2, the mission is simple: to create a fresh, fun, and fabulous shopping experience where every woman feels confident, stylish, and seen.
