Nothing fancy or over filtered to look peachy perfect about these . Instead of posting a stack of sales I thought I would show you how I’ve been packaging my sales of late.
I’ve started storing my inventory in reusable ziplock plastic that way if a buyer had additional questions about an item I can pull It out and not waste a poly bag.
Once an item sells I then remove it from the ziplock bag and wrap it in tissue paper. It’s inexpensive (30 sheets for $1 at the $1 store), recyclable and still protects and item. I then tack on a thank you sticker (1000 stickers for $6 on amazon). I feel like this is enough to show an item was packaged with “love” and care while not wasting to much plastic or paper to make it look pretty for social media.
For packaging materials I use 90% is free packaging from .official or I reuse packaging From my Mail (reduce reuse recycle). I like these priority tyrex envelopes pictured because they are also recyclable. Otherwise if an item is for mercari or eBay that is first class I do have some cheap polymailers to use.
Don’t think you gotta have the ‘gram worthy posh packages stuffed with branded goodies in order to still receive 5 star ratings and love notes. I am keeping less packing materials out of the landfills Plus keeping more profits sticking to the basics then over spending on one time use materials.
