Community, we have a unique opportunity to do a lot of good with one single purchase.

If you have been down to GRS Creations & Fabrics in Old Town Spring lately, you might have seen the eight incredible quilts currently on display. Right now, these quilts are all 20% off. They are beautiful, functional pieces of textile art, but we want to give them an even bigger purpose.

We are looking for community members to purchase these quilts and donate them to the Men’s Textile Collective Foundation. From there, we will be hand-delivering them to our friends at (MGP) the next time our team goes down to volunteer.

MGP does vital work in our community, and they are always in need of quality blankets to keep their youth warm, comfortable, and cared for.

To make this even better, Renee, the wonderful leader of GRS Fabrics, is stepping up to help. If you buy one of these display quilts and choose to donate it to MTCF for the MGP drive, Renee will give you an additional discount at checkout.

By jumping in on this, you are doing three things at once:

Supporting a fantastic local, independent fabric shop.

Providing direct warmth and comfort to youth who truly need it.

Supplies and notions to bring:
* The Big Giant Quilted Bow pattern - available here at GRS
* 2 Charm Packs or 1.5 yards wholecloth for front of bow
* 1.5 yards for back of bow
* 1.5 yards of batting
* 12" zip tie or longer
* Sewing machine, notions and your own thread to match your fabric
