Ok the wait is over. After a ct scan, blood work, 4 MRI’s, a spinal tap, an er visit, a couple visits to my neurologist, a visit to my rheumatologist, eye dr, over a month in bed and 3 days of infusions we finally have a diagnosis.
All the signs where there, even though we were hoping for something else. Not being able to feel my legs and feet and what I can feel is painful. It makes no sense. The only way I can describe it is when your leg/foot is trying to wake up after it falls asleep it has the sensation of being ginormous-numb-tingly-pins and needles yet you can’t feel it. Being stuck in that state constantly. Walking with no sense of how much weight you are bearing and having the sense of rocks in your shoes even when you are not wearing any.
There are so many other things and ways I can describe what I have been going through but to not make this post overly long I will shorten it a bit.
I have started to get some feeling here and there back and I have started to work with it. I am hoping this flare up won’t last too long but only time will tell.
My diagnosis is that I have MS.
I will continue to do the things that I love doing and I will continue to keep crafting and sewing as it has always been and still is my happy place. Aside from the buttons and jewelry sorting. Which has kept me busy this past month. (If you need some jewelry I have lots for sale 😉)
Thank you to all of those who support me and my little business. 💜
