(Bheveni Educational Scholarship Trust) Fund is set in place & is helping to keep nearly 200 kids in school every year! 💚 Well… this isn’t the post I expected to be writing today.

After weeks of preparing for the Art Fair in the Gardens at Munsinger Clemens Botanical Society, the event was officially canceled due to the extremely unhealthy air quality.

I’ll be honest… I’m really sad. 😔

This has become one of my favorite events of the year, and as a small handmade business, it’s also one of my biggest opportunities to earn income.

Like so many of the artists and vendors, I’ve spent weeks designing, creating, ordering supplies, packaging products, and getting everything ready.

That said… I completely understand why the decision was made.

As someone with asthma, I know standing outside for 10-12 hours in this smoke wouldn’t have been good for anyone. Health has to come first, and I’m grateful the committee made such a difficult decision with everyone’s safety in mind.

My heart is simply heavy for all of the talented artists, makers, musicians, food vendors, and the Munsinger Clemens Botanical Society, who put so much into making this event happen.

If there was ever a week to intentionally support a small business, this is one of them. Whether it’s me or another vendor you were hoping to visit today, your purchase truly matters more than you know.

Since we won’t get to see each other in the gardens, I’ll be hosting a Facebook Live Sale next week in our private group Hope Squad {Create Hope Cuffs Community} - so we can still spend a little time together and hopefully find some beautiful pieces that create hope around your wrist and around the world. 💕
