Those of you who know me know that the last 4–5 years have been some of the hardest of my life as I've learned to navigate vision loss.
A little over two months ago, I found out I earned my Certificate in Information Technology, and when I received that letter, I cried.
There was a time when I was advised that the program might be too difficult for me because I was losing my vision and am a visual learner. But I refused to let my circumstances define me.
This certificate is proof that I am capable of so much more than others may see—and sometimes more than I see in myself.
Today, I'm simply proud of myself. 💙✨
