You have to see the before……..
Sometimes you have to look back to realize just how far you’ve come. 🦋
A few months ago, we walked into this space and had to use a lot of imagination.
It didn’t look like Monarch yet.
There wasn’t a boutique. There weren’t workshop tables filled with people creating. There wasn’t a coffee corner, beautiful displays, volunteers working together, or customers walking through the doors.
There was simply a space with lots of walls…and a vision for what it could become.
Then the transformation began.
Walls came down. Floors were laid. Cabinets were built. Paint went on the walls. Furniture arrived. Displays were created. Boxes were unpacked. And slowly, piece by piece, we watched something that had lived in our hearts and on paper begin to take shape right in front of us.
But this transformation is about so much more than a renovated space.
Every wall, every table and every little detail represents the people who gave, volunteered, encouraged, built, carried, painted, assembled, prayed and believed in what Monarch could become.
There were long days, unexpected challenges, plenty of changes along the way—and so many moments when someone simply showed up and said, “How can I help?”
And then one day, we looked around and realized…
It had become Monarch. 🤍
A place to shop.
A place to create.
A place to gather.
A place to serve.
And most importantly, a place where all of those things can help change lives.
This video is a little glimpse behind the scenes—from what it was, to what you see when you walk through our doors today.
What a transformation. What a journey. And we’re only getting started. 🦋
